The upper part of the straps are made from imported materials and then attached to the cork bed and the type of material will be based on what sandal is purchased. The materials are leather, suede, and synthetic birko-Flor which is trademarked for Birkenstock as a type of synthetic leather.

The footbed is a cork material that conforms to the shape of your foot over a few days of use. The sole of the sandal will have a rubber layer which helps to grip surfaces.

When it comes to walking for hours on end in the city or taking a hike in the park, these Arizona sandals are great at keeping my feet secure. They are an open toe, which means that I cannot do intense athletic activities in them or take a deep hike into the woods.

Besides that, I am able to wear them daily and I do not have to worry about the weather or normal terrain. If it is sprinkling, my sandals have a strong grip to keep my feet in place and the sole keeps me from slipping. They are a perfect walking sandal for any situation.

I love these Birkenstocks. I have always worn them for as long as I can even remember. They can be a bit expensive, but a single pair lasts me much longer than a year. I love them a lot that I have continued to buy them over the years. They look great. They do not hurt my feet and that is the type of shoe that I have been looking for, especially when it comes to sandals.
